Christmas Dinner

Some family members had a terrible work schedule that prevented Christmas dinner on the more traditional Christmas Eve, so we did the turkey a day early.  Wynne wasn't there for the big dinner, but we ate some turkey for her.

Pete sent us a bottle of champagne so we wouldn't forget about him.  We emailed him a picture of the fun we had with it.

Opening the pressurized bottle is always an adventure...especially if you don't cover the cork with a towel.  Fortunately, nobody was injured.

Wynne flew from Seattle to Albuquerque on Friday night.  When we arrived at the airport, the reader board said her flight was canceled.  We were about to leave, when Robin had the bright idea to ask the gate agent about the flight.  "It just landed," he told us.  Guess who inherited the brains in the family.
